Listening to a CD

To listen to a CD with iTunes, insert the CD into your Mac. The CD appears in the source list and the iTunes window shows the songs on the CD.

To control playback: Use the playback controls to play and pause a song and to skip forward or backward to the next song.

Look in the Controls menu for a list of keyboard commands for controlling playback. For more information about the other buttons, choose Show Balloons from the Help menu, then point to what you're interested in. (Available only in Mac OS 9.)
